Object appeared to .Mrs Brimberry as a large round ball of fire about 26 to 30 inches in diameter with a 11tai l 11 of approximat ely 20 feet in length . This 11tai1 11 seerood to diminish as it approached the ground . It appeared to have sudde~ llgone out 11 just before it reached the earth . It possibly could have hit the ground a great distance away but it seemed to have landed in the open vacant field adjacent the house . This field is abo ut 18 acres in area . Mr Brimberry des cr~bed the object as being "almost round , maybe a little ova l or sauce r -shaped and giving off a brigh t light . It appeared to be spinning . He did not see the tail when he observed the object . Incident occu:r-red just before sun- up ai.d it was pretty light outside .
