1983 Lebanon UFO Reports During the Civil War

Record summary

UFO catalogues and periodical indexes record reports from Lebanon during the 1980s, including observations around Beirut amid the civil war. Such reports are potentially valuable for examining how flares, bombardment, aircraft, tracer fire, and atmospheric phenomena were interpreted under conditions of stress and limited communications. The cases are not well represented by a single authoritative investigation, and English-language summaries frequently provide only a year and country. Verification should begin with Lebanese and international newspaper archives before consulting later UFO compilations.
