Phoenix Mountain UFO landing reports

Record summary

Chinese UFO literature describes alleged low-level encounters near Phoenix Mountain in Heilongjiang during 1994, commonly associated with forestry workers and reports of a structured object near wooded terrain. Some retellings add unusual beings or occupants, while others emphasize lights, physical traces, or radar claims. The episode matters because it became one of the most frequently repeated post-1990 Chinese cases and can be compared with rural landing narratives elsewhere. Details vary substantially between Chinese reports, later translations, and international summaries, so the exact witness testimony and chronology require checking.
