Gulf Breeze Six incident

Record summary

The Gulf Breeze Six refers to a cluster of alleged encounters and abduction-related claims associated with the broader Gulf Breeze UFO milieu in the early 1990s. Accounts involved multiple residents and were discussed by UFO investigators, local media, and skeptics, but they do not constitute a single standardized event report. The episode is relevant for comparing social contagion, memory formation, hypnosis-related testimony, and community-based witness networks. Researchers should distinguish contemporaneous accounts from later retellings and from the separate Ed Walters photograph controversy.
