Madam Koi Koi school ghost legend

Record summary

Madam Koi Koi is a Nigerian boarding-school ghost legend concerning a female figure, often identified by the sound of high-heeled shoes, who is said to haunt dormitories, corridors, or school grounds. Versions differ over her identity, death, clothing, and the school associated with her. The lead matters because it provides a West African comparison for repeating female apparitions, auditory cues, adolescent rumor, and boarding-school folklore. Its transmission history is especially important: many accounts circulate orally or online without a securely documented originating school or dated witness report.
