The Aquarian Gospel and Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment

Record summary

The Association for Research and Enlightenment in Virginia Beach preserved and published Edgar Cayce’s trance readings, while developing study groups and educational programs during the 1970s and 1980s. The readings cover reincarnation, Atlantis, healing, astrology, and Christian esotericism, making the archive useful for tracing how a twentieth-century clairvoyant corpus became an organized tradition. Researchers can verify specific reading numbers, dates, publications, and institutional records. Cayce’s diagnoses and historical claims remain matters of belief and controversy, not established fact.
