South African Air Force UFO files

Record summary

South African military and police records are reported to contain investigations of unusual aerial sightings, including cases involving pilots, radar operators, and security personnel. This is a research lead rather than one event: its value lies in testing claims that South Africa maintained a formal UFO file and in identifying any genuinely instrumented encounters within it. Public descriptions often blend official records with civilian UFO-group material, and the extent of surviving or accessible documentation is unclear. The archive’s contents, provenance, and release status require direct verification.
