USS Theodore Roosevelt and Persian Gulf UAP Reports

Record summary

This lead refers to accounts from personnel associated with the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier group who described unusual aerial objects during operations in or near the Persian Gulf. The reports have been discussed in later interviews and UAP compilations rather than through one universally recognized incident file. They may help compare operational military sightings with later disclosure narratives, especially regarding sensor evidence and reporting chains. The number of events, dates, witnesses, and specific ship involvement require careful reconstruction from interviews and official records.
