Sanjay Van, Delhi forest apparition and disappearance lore

Record summary

Sanjay Van, a large protected woodland near Mehrauli, acquired a reputation for apparitions, a white-clad woman, strange lights, and unsettling experiences among walkers and security personnel. Reports from the 1990s and 2000s commonly mixed real concerns about isolation, crime, wildlife, and old tombs with supernatural interpretation. The location is useful for comparing urban-edge risk environments with contemporary ghost narratives. Verification should identify named newspapers, police records, forest-management information, and dated witnesses rather than relying on anonymous internet lists.
