Levelland UFO incidents

Record summary

Drivers and other residents near Levelland reported a large glowing object, sometimes described as egg-shaped, that allegedly interfered with vehicle engines or electrical systems. Police investigated several calls, and the Air Force reviewed the reports. Explanations included electrical effects, ball lightning, weather, and exaggeration, but no consensus established what was observed. The case supports comparison of clustered rural reports, roadside testimony, and claims of technological effects. The documented police response is more secure than the extraordinary mechanism attributed to the object.
