Dhaka flying-object report, 1960s

Record summary

Reports from Dacca in the East Pakistan period are occasionally mentioned in regional UFO lists, generally as observations of lights or unusual objects in the sky. This lead could help investigate how UFO narratives circulated through Bengali, Pakistani, and international newspapers before Bangladesh’s independence. Model memory does not provide a reliable date, witness, or original article, and the report may be a broad city-level catalogue entry. Researchers should search Bengali-language archives and distinguish ordinary aircraft, meteors, and political rumours from documented observations.
