Cachi, Salta alleged landing reports

Record summary

Cachi in Salta Province appears in Argentine UFO literature as a location associated with unusual lights, alleged landings and recurring local reports during the 1990s. The case is potentially useful for comparing rural tourism regions, mountain landscapes and the way local legends become incorporated into national UFO narratives. General model memory does not securely identify one dated incident, principal witnesses or an official investigation. Verification should begin with Argentine UFO organizations, regional newspapers and books that cite a specific Cachi episode rather than treating the place-name alone as evidence.
