Iranian Air Force UFO Reports During the 1978 Revolution

Record summary

UFO literature describes additional Iranian sightings during the political crisis preceding the 1979 revolution, sometimes presenting them as a continuation of the 1976 Tehran case. These accounts may include lights, radar observations, and alleged aircraft encounters, making them relevant for studying how an earlier famous case shaped later reporting. The category is less securely defined than the 1976 incident: individual reports, dates, witnesses, and archival provenance vary substantially between compilations. It should therefore be treated as a search lead rather than a single established event.
