The Chaos Magick Working in Gordon White’s Rune Soup Community

Record summary

Gordon White’s Rune Soup platform documented practical chaos-magick methods including sigil work, “shoaling,” trance, and group experimentation, with participation from readers and podcast guests. These are identifiable through published essays, courses, and recorded discussions rather than a single universally standardized ritual. The material matters for comparing online occult pedagogy, pragmatic magic, and community-based experimentation in North America. Researchers should isolate one named exercise or dated group working, reconstruct its instructions, and record participant testimony separately from White’s theoretical claims or later retrospective summaries.
