1964 Zambia independence-era UFO reports

Record summary

Reports attributed to Northern Rhodesia around independence in 1964 appear in some international UFO catalogues and may involve lights seen near Lusaka or transport routes. They matter for comparison because newly independent states inherited colonial aviation infrastructures while newspapers continued using global flying-saucer vocabulary. The remembered evidence is bibliographically weak: the entries may be country-level summaries rather than a single documented episode. A researcher should search Zambian newspapers, parliamentary material, airport logs, and contemporary international press.
