The White Witch of Rose Hall Photograph Claims

Record summary

Visitors and paranormal-tourism outlets have circulated photographs from Rose Hall that allegedly show Annie Palmer or another pale figure in the great house. These images are useful for studying how a pre-existing historic-house legend acquires visual “evidence,” particularly through flash artifacts, reflections, windows, and low-light digital photography. The documentary status of individual images varies: many lack original files, metadata, or a continuous chain of custody. Verification should identify the earliest publication of each photograph and compare it with architectural features and ordinary visitors.
