The Ghosts of the Hotel Monte Vista

Record summary

Flagstaff’s Hotel Monte Vista was associated with reports involving a bellboy, a rocking chair, a phantom baby, moving objects, and other room-specific phenomena. The stories appeared in local lore, hotel accounts, visitor testimony, and paranormal media during the target period. It matters for comparison because named micro-legends can attach to separate rooms and become part of a hotel’s identity without a single canonical investigation. Researchers should check the hotel’s historical records, identify the earliest versions of each story, and distinguish staff lore from independently documented encounters.
