The Ancient Ram Inn investigations

Record summary

The Ancient Ram Inn was repeatedly featured in British ghost books, television and paranormal investigations during the 1990s and 2000s. Claims concerned apparitions, a purported incubus, unusual sensations and alleged occult or sacrificial associations with the building. The site is useful for comparing architectural antiquity, folklore accumulation, sensational reporting and investigator expectation. The building’s history can be independently researched, but many supernatural details are repeated without clear provenance. No particular apparition or occult claim should be treated as established merely because it appears in multiple guidebooks.
