Queensland UFO Research Association case files

Record summary

The Queensland UFO Research Association accumulated reports from Queensland witnesses during the 1970s and 1980s, including coastal, rural, and aviation-related observations. Its files are potentially valuable because they preserve local report forms, investigator notes, sketches, and correspondence that may not appear in national archives. For comparative work, the collection can show how witness narratives changed through interviews and how investigators handled satellites, aircraft, meteors, and hoaxes. The existence and contents of particular files need confirmation through archival catalogs or direct repository access, since secondary summaries often compress multiple reports.
