Zanfretta abduction reports

Record summary

Italian security guard Pier Fortunato Zanfretta reported repeated encounters with a large object and tall, unusual beings during night duties in Liguria. The reports became prominent through hypnosis, interviews, police documentation and Italian UFO publications. The case matters for comparison because it combines recurring episodes, alleged physiological effects, missing-time themes and independent investigation claims. Its evidential status remains disputed: much of the record is mediated by later interviews and hypnosis, and critics have proposed misperception, embellishment or fabrication rather than an extraordinary encounter.
