Chicalim UFO sighting

Record summary

A widely repeated Indian UFO report places an unusual aerial observation at Chicalim in Goa in 2001. Accounts circulated through Indian newspapers, UFO organizations and later online summaries, sometimes associating the observation with several witnesses or an object near aviation infrastructure. The case may matter for comparing how Indian civilian reports were localized, publicized and later reinterpreted. The exact date, witness identities, object description and original reporting trail are inconsistently reproduced, so this should be treated as a press and database lead rather than an established event.
