Source text · mention onlyI have been looking up all the old books upon the Maoris which I could find, with the special intent of clearing up their history, but while doing so I found in one rather rare volume "Old New Zealand," an account of a Maori seance, which seems to have been in the early forties, and, therefore, older than the Hydesville knockings.
