In the second part of the volume is given an account of the most important phenomena which are vouched for by eminent scientists, which, after the most careful analysis, cannot be explained by any of the means known to legerdemain. Among those are recorded the famous experiments of Sir William Crookes, Professor Richet, Doctor Lombroso, etc.
