Kera miniature-UFO claims

Record summary

What happened A group of boys said they captured a small silver, hat-shaped object after repeated sightings near rice fields. Photographs show a handheld object, and the boys reported that it emitted sounds, moved and repeatedly escaped from storage. Skeptical reconstructions identify the object as resembling a cast-iron incense burner or similar manufactured lid. Evidence Witness statements and several photographs document the physical object presented by the children. Explanations considered A found or modified household object used in an elaborate children’s story is the leading explanation. What remains uncertain No independent adult observed autonomous flight, and the object was not preserved for controlled examination. Primary source Kera miniature-UFO claims — Wikipedia
