P:OJECT 10073 REC0RD DATE·TIME GROUP 2.LOCATION 23 November 1968 Newton, Georgia 3.SOURCE 10.CONCLUSION Civilian Unidentified evaluated by JA.H 4.NUMBER OF OBJECTS One (1) 5.LENGTH OF OBSERVATION 11.BRIEF SUMMARYAND ANALYSIS Witness encountered brilliant 3or 4minutes 1ight directly above road as he rounded a bend in road in sparsely settled territory.About 200 feet ahead of him and 6.TYPE OF OBSERVATION 50-75 feet off the ground. No object, just 1ight. Radio ground-visual faded into static.Light itself emitted a beam downward that illuminated nearby trees. Light was retracted as if the beam 7.COURSE were a 1adder.Beam 5-6 feet wide,wel1 defined.Main 1ight Directly up fuzzy on edges.Driving a '67 Ford,but engine just cut out as did radio.Main 1ight was scintillating.Subtended arc 8.PHOTOS of several degrees.Light disappeared in a few seconds, Y going straight up.
